Spain Strengthens Its Leadership in Dehydrated Fodder

The Spanish Manufacturers Association of Dehydrated Alfalfa (AEFA Asociación Española de Fabricantes de Alfalfa Deshidratada – ALFALFA SPAIN) made an appearance at the China Alfalfa & Oat Hay Workshop where forage importers, dairy experts, and people who genuinely know what a dehydrated alfalfa pellet should look like, were gathered to talk about dehydrated fodder, something that plays a rather crucial role in feeding the world’s animals.

Backed by ICEX, AEFA continues to promote dehydrated fodder across China.

Better feed, better animals, fewer surprises in the supply chain. When 105,000 tonnes of Spanish fodder landed in China in 2024, probably someone’s doing something right. That’s a 182% y-o-y growth!

We’re proud to be part of it. Luis Machín Álvarez, AEFA Spanish Dehydrated Alfalfa Producers Association, teleported in digitally, and Pablo Recio Gracia, our Managing Director, who handled things on the ground, were the presenters.

Special thanks to all who turned up, tuned in, or simply stayed awake for the full 70 minutes. We’ll be back soon with more fodder-related fun.
