Exciting news! The Philippines has just opened its doors to Spanish poultry exports.
A bilateral agreement was signed in April of 2025, spotlighting Spain as a rising star in the Philippines’ supply chain. Currently, both governments are finalising the export certificates, so full approval could come through at anytime soon.
That’s why a strong delegation from top companies like Grupo Vall Companys, Grupo Uvesa, Padesa, and COREN accompanied AVIANZA on our recent trip to Manila. More activities are expected in 2026.
On the ground, we visited wet markets, met with retailers and distributors, and toured poultry processing plants. This gave us a hands-on look at how the Philippine poultry industry works.
We also visited the Ministry of Agriculture, organised business meetings between importers and delegates, and shared our high standards in quality assurance, sustainable practices, traceability, and competitive pricing.
The Philippines is a dynamic, fast-growing market where chicken is widely enjoyed in countless popular dishes. From adobo to inasal, poultry is everywhere, and so are the opportunities. This visit created a unique space for companies on both sides to connect directly and explore potential partnerships.
