Who said summer = holidays? Our team has a few more trips ahead in August before a well-deserved break. This week we are travelling to Manila, with a booth at WOFEX, the biggest and most effective food trade show in the Philippines. Already at its 24th edition, we will be there representing the “EU Pork, the Smart Choice” Campaign organised by INTERPORC and FILPORC, with aid from the EU.
This will be the second year where the campaign is present at WOFEX, after a great success in 2023, we will repeat attendance with a very active booth! EU Pork at WOFEX will have daily ham carving demonstrations and tastings as well as live-cooking shows, to portray the great quality and taste of EU Pork meat.
The presence of EU Pork campaign at this fair is key to develop relationships with the industry and maintain the EU’s current position as the lead pork imports origin in the Philippines. In 2023, Philippines was the 4th Asian destination for Spanish pork meat exports and the 2nd in terms of pork offal, making it a high-priority market for the Spanish pork industry.
