EU Pork Inspires China’s future chefs and foodies

A total of 249 aspiring chefs across China’s top culinary schools in Suzhou, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hefei, and Qingdao got hand on to explore the excellence of EU Pork. Supported by the EU and led by Interporc and FILPORC, during the sessions students master irresistible dishes like Chinese-style Spanish pork ribs with lemon and crispy fried Spanish pork collar with mustard and pomelo salsa with Serrano ham tapas stealing the show.

They discovered what makes EU Pork the smart choice: safety, exceptional quality, high standards of animal welfare, and commitment to sustainability.
The campaign has been busy this last June, as it also featured restaurant collabs with four renowned restaurants in Tianjin. FLO福楼, NANA Teng 19, Nana’s Restaurant (MIFC MALL), and Hongqi Restaurant (红旗饭庄) offered special menus featuring premium Spanish and Portuguese pork and ham.

The launch event at FLO福楼 delighted 44 guests with dishes like grilled smoked Portuguese pork baby ribs with caramel apple and crispy Spanish pork belly with sauerkraut, alongside a live cooking demo and insights from an executive chef.

A big shoutout to our amazing on-ground team for coordinating every detail and ensuring the successful execution of the events! At this point, between flights, kitchens and schedules, we’ve become logistics ninjas… powered by pork of course!
