More than 30 pizza professionals put their creativity to the test in a special cooking competition featuring Hojiblanca, Gordal, and Manzanilla olives at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The event, part of the Olives from Spain campaign by Interaceituna and ICEX, showed some chefs delighting innovative ways to incorporate olives into their dishes. A panel of judges, including pizza experts and campaign representatives, awarded four winners.
Beyond the competition, visitors explored a dedicated booth offering 21 olive varieties for tasting, along with olive-inspired tapas and dishes. Lucky draws gave attendees the chance to take home some olives, making it a successful celebration of pizza and the versatility of olives.
