Our work
EIBENS implements the EU campaign “European Pork, The Smart Choice” across China, Vietnam and the Philippines.
Following the success from the previous campaign for promotion of EU pork, EIBENS was selected again as implementing body for the communication campaign “European Pork, The Smart Choice” organised by INTERPORC and FILPORC with the objective of promoting pork from Spain and Portugal in China, Vietnam and the Philippines. The campaign runs from 2023 to 2025 and targets both profesionals such as importers, distributors, retailers, e-commerce platforms, chefs and horeca professionals, media and key opinion leaders (KOLs); as well as middle class and affluent consumers from main urban centers in the target markets. The campaign actions spread across:
Key objectives:
- The objective of the activity is to increase awareness and preference for high-quality, safe, and sustainable European pork from Spain and Portugal among key stakeholders and urban consumers in Asia through targeted promotional actions.
Key facts:
- Tradeshows participation at CIIE (Shanghai, China) and WOFEX (Manila, Philippines) all years of the campaign and F&H (HCMC, Vietnam) year 2 and 3 of the campaign
- 30 + events including tasting events, master classes, restaurant weeks, POS promotion activities
- Seven study trips for proffesionals to Spain and Portugal
- Seven official social media accounts (Vietnam and Philippines Facebook, Instagram; China: WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, Douguo, Zhihu)+ Website
- Three e-commerce promotions covering at least two target cities in each country, with minimum six stores
- Media content creation and continued PR activities
