Tipes
PDO (Protected Designation of Origin):
Every production step occurs in the region.
PGI (Protected Geographical Indication):
At least one production stage is tied to the origin.
GI (Spirit Drinks):
Linked to traditions of a region.
TSG (Traditional Speciality Guarantee)
Protects traditional production methods or composition of food/agricultural products, regardless of origin. Unlike geographical indications, TSG safeguards the process allowing production anywhere.
