On September 23rd, more than 400 F&B professionals and gourmet enthusiasts gathered in Beijing for an exhibition we organised to showcase the world of Spanish olives. As part of the “Olives, Spain’s Superfood” campaign, co-funded by ICEX and INTERACEITUNA, the event highlighted Spain’s expansive olive groves, their nutritional benefits, and the wide variety of olives.
Guests sampled 20 distinct olive flavours, each presented with detailed descriptions, and enjoyed olive-infused tapas prepared by a certified Spanish restaurant. Cooking demonstrations, an interactive quiz, and a lucky draw added excitement, with many guests winning premium Spanish olives to take home. It was a fun, flavour-filled day that left everyone with a new appreciation for the incredible versatility of Spanish olives!
