The 2024 FWS Academy Spanish Wines education program has been re-launched with a Spanish Wine Trader (SWT) course. On August 25th, 16 participants completed the course and, under the guidance of the lecturer, tasted 16 Spanish wines. All participants passed the post-course exam and will be awarded the SWT Certificate of Completion issued by ICEX.
This Spanish wine education program is an official initiative developed by ICEX. Participants will deepen their knowledge and gain a comprehensive understanding and appreciation of Spanish wines. It includes two levels of certification courses—the Spanish Wine Specialist (SWS) course and the Certified Educator (SWE) course—as well as the Trader (SWT) course specifically designed for professionals in the Spanish wine business.
Starting in 2024, EIBENS will serve as the implementing company to advance FWS Academy in China over the coming years. During this phase, the project will focus on the core message, “Your ideal match, yet to be met.” We look forward to creating a network of trained ambassadors in China, imparting knowledge, and sharing enthusiasm about Spanish wine with consumers and other F&B professionals.
