Advisory Council. Optimizing Spanish Agri-food Strategy through Expert Dialogue
The Advisory Council (2023–Ongoing) is a multi-year strategic initiative promoted by ICEX to support the development of Spanish agri-food products in the Chinese market through structured market insights and expert dialogue. EIBENS is responsible for designing, coordinating, and implementing the Advisory Council in China.
Each year, the programme concludes with the Advisory Council Summit, where invited experts share key insights and recommendations. The Summit brings together Spanish stakeholders and leading Chinese market players to exchange perspectives and support better-informed strategies in the Chinese agri-food market. After the event, EIBENS prepares a consolidated report outlining the main findings and recommended next steps.

- Provide ICEX with clear and reliable market insights while strengthening dialogue with leading Chinese industry stakeholders.

- Select and coordinate leading agri-food industry experts in China
- Conduct interviews and group discussions to collect market insights
- Organise Advisory Council meetings throughout the year
- Deliver structured summaries and practical recommendations to ICEX
